About Affordable Family Funerals

Affordable Family Funerals is Queensland owned and operated and is 100% Australian.

After fifteen years as a funeral director, Anthony James, believes that families deserve a more cost effective alternative than what is provided by other companies but without compromising quality care and professional service.

Our Costs

These prices include professional services in Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan, and Beaudesert. We are able to assist you outside these areas but additional fees would apply. Contact us for a personalised estimate.

Burial

For a funeral service at the graveside during our business hours, the inclusions below apply. Please note the fees for the cemetery of your choice vary and are an additional cost:

· Our professional service fee

· Celebrant or Minister

· Registered death certificate

· Coffin - Aged Pine

· Floral arrangement (to the value of $100)

Cremation without ceremony

This option is available when there is no service or any attendance by family, friends, or clergy (no viewing) and includes the following:

· Our professional service fee

· Cremation fee at the crematorium of the funeral director’s choice

· Cremation permit

· Registered death certificate

· Coffin - Transporter

Crematorium Service

A crematorium service in the chapel at the crematorium
during our business hours, and includes the following:

· Our professional service fee

· Cremation fee

· Cremation permit

· Use of the crematorium chapel in most crematoriums (Mt Gravatt, Centenary, Hemmant, Deception Bay, Pinaroo, Albany Creek, and Mt Cotton Crematoriums)

· Floral arrangement (to the value of $100)

· Celebrant or Minister

· Registered death certificate

· Coffin - Aged Pine

Additional Options

The following are options that families may choose for additional costs:

· Newspaper notices

· Viewings prior to the day of the funeral

· Funerals after our business hours, on weekends, or public holidays

· Ashes delivery in person within the service area, or courier/registered post for all other areas

· Funeral service at a venue prior to the committal in the cemetery or crematorium

· Final tributes (for example: balloons, doves, butterflies etc)

· Audio visual presentations and recording

· Musicians

· Orders of service

· Memorial books

· Coffin or casket different to the one included above

· Additional floral tributes

· Catering and/or facilities

· Ashes urns

Exclusions

· Transportation of your loved one into our care during business hours (8am to 4pm Monday to Friday) from a nursing home, private hospital, residential premises incurs an additional fee.

· Transportation of your loved one into our care after business hours (8am to 4pm Monday to Friday) or public holidays from a nursing home, private hospital, residential premises incurs an additional fee.

· Cemetery fees - these vary depending on the cemetery, section, and type of grave required so we are unable to include all the prices on this website. Please contact us to discuss your choice of cemetery for accurate pricing.

Any other goods or services not specifically nominated as inclusions above.
